The road works on the bridge on Minster Road have been done - all fine and dandy.And crucially the bit on the left hand side (travelling from Kilburn high Road/Cricklewood Boradway) has had the pathway built out to enable people parking (mainly residents) to open their door and get out.
It might be very common, but I hadn't seen such a measure before and I thought it was dead good - meant the railings didn't intrude etc etc.
A small, but helpful measure.
Surely that makes for more accidents/ The road is narrower as a result making it awkward when passing parked cars. Can't see the point mesel!

it means we can have the railings, the parking and traffic is still flowing - residents seem happier and it's not a visitor parking area
